MML-FWP5A-60 is a 1 x 60CM 5 ROW FULL SPECTRUM XB PANEL also known as the PRO PLANT PANEL uses high performance 3W Power Leds for exceptional depth penetration and designed to produce high light with the perfect spectrum for planted, community and fish display tanks.
Fully Plug & Play, all components are plug compatible allowing you to add, remove or swap any of the MakeMyLed range of LED fixtures and to swap in and out any of the MakeMyLed dimmer/controllers and power supply range at any time.
Model MML-FWP5A-60 has a full spectrum, hitting all the photosynthesis peaks for unrivaled growing power and lush growth of both green and red fresh water plants and a a very high CRI (colour Rendering Index) for natural colour reproduction and for highlighting blues and reds in fish.
Fully dimmable and 4 channel colour tunable with a tried and proven blend of Cool White 6500K, Neutral White 4000K, 660nm Deep Red, 450 Royal Blue and 505nm Cyan power leds, the MML-FWP5A-60 an outstanding performer and produces a beautiful shimmer in the water like natural sunlight on a clear pond when you ripple the water.

For our local Australian and New Zealand customers, power supplies ship out with an approved IEC plug and cable, for international customers we supply the same AU cable and plug with an adapter for your country.
All components in the system are Plug & Play which means you can swap dimmers/controllers or power supplies at any time, remove tubes from your system or swap tubes around, you can even add tubes to your system within the limits of the power supply.
The MML-FWP5A-30 is fully colour tunable allowing you to select from an array of stunning colour blends or make your own for mood lighting and for highlighting specific colours in fish and plants. The pictures below show some of the many colour blends you can achieve with this light.
Featuring a complete full spectrum hitting all the right spots for the photosynthesis requirements for red and green plants and a wide band in the green part of the spectrum for aesthetics. Red plants will grow red and green plants will grow green.
The CRI (Colour Rendering Index) is very high > 91% which means this lighting system will reproduce natural vivid colours and showcase blues and reds in fish.

The basic building block of MakeMyLed systems is the cleverly designed circuit board. Brightness is the measure of how bright lights are to the human eye, PPFD (Photosynthetic Photon Flux Density) often referred to as PAR is the measure of how effective light is to the inhabitants under water and varies according to how deep the water is, decreasing PAR as the water gets deeper. This system comes with a choice of six optical lenses (aka beam angle), 120°, 90°, 60°, 45°, 30° and 15° , each one suits a specific depth range in aquariums. Optical lenses focus the light beam and produce a beam to match the optical angle i.e. 90° produces a 90° beam angle and 60° produces a 60° beam angle, Optic angle is also known as the beam angle. The smaller the angle the higher the intensity at the substrate with lower horizontal area coverage, the higher the angle the lower the intensity at the substrate with higher the horizontal area coverage. 2 tube system for heavily planted tanks

From the start Fred provided clear and helpful advice, even though his advice was to choose something that was less expensive than I had first suggested. The light is perfect for my tank and my plants have never looked better. I will be placing another order soon for my bigger tank.

When the box arrived I knew as soon as I picked it up and felt the weight that something special was waiting inside.
Stunningly packed for shipment I couldn't wait to get it unpacked.
I have a strange sized planted tank 78cm x 30cm x 65cm high.
I used the recomendation chart then contacted Fred who suggested i would be better with 90° lenses to ensure penetration. We also discussed changing from 3 strip to 5strip which was probably the best thing i have done.
Having used mass produced lights up until now i wasn't sure what I was gettiing. let me tell you the quality of fittings parts and product is superb.
Having wired everything up I turned the unit on and sat there for 10 minutes just staring at the volume of light in my tank.
For the next 3 months I plan to run the tank as per the instructions to find the best balance of program for my plants, from there I will move onto using the manual controller to customise to suit my needs.
